The Sustainable Economic Initiative is EJAM’s new core program direction. The purpose of the initiative is to support community-led innovation that promotes economic development in Northside Minneapolis that will lead to long-term generation of local wealth and self-reliance while improving the health and well-being of people, community, and the land.

EJAM does this through grassroots community organizing that provides opportunities and access to training and resources needed for community members to work collectively to determine their own vision of sustainable community and to plan and carry out economic initiatives that align with that vision.
