Sustainable Economic Initiative
The Sustainable Economic Initiative is EJAM’s new core program direction. The purpose of the initiative is to support community-led innovation that promotes economic development in Northside Minneapolis that will lead to long-term generation of local wealth and self-reliance while improving the health and well-being of people, community, and the land.
Healthy Legacy Youth: Year III
*The purpose of the Healthy Legacy project is to encourage young people from low income communities and communities of color to learn about the impacts of exposure to toxins in our environment and provide them with the tools and opportunities needed to take action to create a healthier home and community.

Green Jobs Advocacy
The purpose of EJAM’s Green Jobs Advocacy work is to ensure representation of low income communities and communities of color in development of local state policy to create green jobs.
Green Jobs Working Group
Take Action! Join the cause every other Wednesday with the Green Jobs Working Group @ the Minneapolis Urban League. Next meeting is August 5th 2009.

Climate Justice Project Overview
The Climate Justice Project, a collaboration between the Women’s Environmental Institute (WEI) and the Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota (EJAM), continues to move forward. EJAM recently hired their new Executive Director, Michael Neumann, who will serve as the EJAM Climate Justice Project Coordinator, parallel to and in partnership with Eleonore Wesserle, the WEI Climate Justice Project Coordinator.
