Organizational Sustainability
EJAM will take an “asset-based” approach to developing the resources needed to carry out the work of the organization/community. We will formulate a plan for developing physical, human, and grassroots community assets and resources needed to support its work. A core component of this strategy is the acquisition of land and/or buildings that could support new construction or renovation of an existing structure using alternative building and energy systems. Educational workshops that will take place as part of new construction or renovation will support EJAM’s base building and the Sustainable Economic Initiative.
EJAM will explore opportunities for partnership with organizations from doing like work in other, similarly situated communities. EJAM will strive to nurture and strengthen relationships with partners and to work in strategic collaboration with them. EJAM’s base building will enable it to identify human and other resources that the Northside Minneapolis community can lend to the work of the organization.
