Lead Poisoning Prevention

EJAM hosting toxic-free cleaner workshop while celebrating 10 years of Minneapolis
Lead Poisoning Prevention at the Harrison Neighborhood Community Center.

Our community faces serious environmental health issues because of the presence of lead and other toxins in the home.  Environmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota's Lead Poisoning Prevention program is designed to reduce exposure to toxins, including:

  • Lead,
  • Carbon monoxide,
  • Radon,
  • Mold,
  • Allergens.

EJAM educates the community about ways to reduce exposure through educational events, home screening, and referral.
