Community Action of Minneapolis is looking for a Home Energy Conservation Tech I
Under the supervision of the Weatherization Program Manager, this position performs field inspections, calculates energy savings, determines cost-effective and practical repairs, and writes up work orders for crews and contractors. Works to educate and empower low-income customers on utility bills; acts as a referral source agent for other customer-eligible programs; and assists with evaluation and follow-up on customer services. Must be available for some customer-required evening or weekend appointments.

Energy Conservation Associate - Community Action Partnership of Ramsey and Washington Counties
Under the direction of the program Supervisor or Production Manager, the Associate provides clerical and administrative support to the Energy Conservation Department. Duties include, but are not limited to, scheduling energy audits, inspections, work crews, answering multi-line phone system, record keeping, filing, and general office organization.

Requirments:
Clean criminal background
Valid driver’s license
Your own reliable transportation
Successful completion of T.A.B.E. test in both Reading and Math
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
Commitment to 11 weeks of training(including a hiatus of two weeks during the holidays)
